Recently we have completed the building of a 550 square metre family home in the harsh environment of the beachfront. Our home is a French/Mediterranean style and as a result the plasterwork is critical in achieving the correct look and also critical in standing up to the test of time.

Our builder who tends to operate in the top end of the housing market recommended we consider Kevin and Quality Finishes Ltd. to undertake the plasterwork.

My wife and I met Kevin on a number of occasions, discussed the requirements of the job and before engaging him completed a thorough check on Quality Finishes. In this early stage Kevin went out of his way to make up samples of both colour and finish and also engaged the plaster product supplier in meetings with us.

Accordingly Kevin and his excellent team completed the project to our satisfaction and in many areas went beyond what was required of him. Our confidence in him grew to the extent where we adventurously introduced a considerable amount of plasterwork to the interior as well. Now with the house finished we are so pleased with the interior work that we kick ourselves for not going further with the plastering inside.

Our home has just taken out the 2009 overall House of the Year in the Bay of Plenty awarded by the Master Builders Association. The style of our home is such that the impact of the plasterwork is key to its success and impact and continuously receives favourable comments from our many visitors.

Kevin we found to be a very fair and good businessman, runs a very good tight team of tradesman, communicates well with the customer and achieves a high standard of quality work. This might seem an over the top recommendation but quite frankly we are wrapped with the job and Kevin and his team have exceeded our expectations.
