Matrixx Consultants Ltd. were the architects for a very large and complex house at 51 Marine Parade, Mount Maunganui.

The house design makes reference to a European influence that is timeless in style - i.e. the house needed to look like it had been there for some time already and it was still going to sit elegantly on the site for a long time into the future.

The plastering to both the exterior and the interior demanded a special finish outside of normal practice to turn rustic plastering into an art form.

Kevin Giles and his team along with the support of Sto (Stoanz Ltd) had the patience and skills to experiment with the products and techniques to achieve the required finishes and produce them consistently throughout the project.
